GSM模塊功能介紹
下位機和上位機通信用的GSM模塊為北京捷麥公司生產的G100短信模塊，相比其他通信模塊，G100模塊具有以下優點：
（1）不必關心AT指令集，所有與AT有關的操作均有模塊內部完成；
（2）具有格式和透明傳輸兩種數據傳輸方式；
（3）完全獨立開發，在使用或客戶二次開發的過程中能提供良好的技術支持；
（4）支持總線式的被動傳輸數據方式；
（5）具有省電和正常兩種工作方式；
（6）具有4 B密碼，可使模塊免受廣告和通知等數據干擾。
G100模塊自帶RS232﹑RS485和TTL3種接口，可以方便地與PC機和單片機進行連機通信，可以快速﹑安全﹑可靠地實現系統方案中的短消息服務。工作電壓范圍為7~14 V，與上位機的連接方式如圖4所示。
基于GSM的無線智能抄表系統通過短消息進行通信，通信費用低廉，且維護方便。目前，GSM網絡已經覆蓋全國，且傳輸距離遠，數據傳輸可靠性高，這大大增強了基于GSM的抄表系統的性能。由于GSM網絡在全國范圍內實現了聯網和漫游，用戶無需另外組網，在提高網絡覆蓋范圍的同時，也節省了建網費用和維護費用。相比其他抄表系統，基于GSM的無線智能抄表系統成本低、可靠性強，具有一定的經濟效益。
