QUINT 100-240/2.4 EFD切片一直是5G網絡使能垂直行業的重要抓手，但是具體5G切片進展如何，業界對此十分關注。標準先行，5G切片的標準正在不斷完善，在20215G切片產業峰會上，中國信通院移動通信創新中心副主任徐菲介紹了5G端到端網絡切片標準的最新進展。
CCSA成立了5G網絡端到端切片特設項目組，拉通各專業技術領域，實現技術標準的布局與協同。總體規劃5G網絡端到端切片標準體系框架，梳理現有相關標準情況，組織開展共性標準研究。
IMT-2020試驗推動產業組織端到端網絡切片測試，分階段實施，拉通各子切片協作，實現端到端全自動配置。同/異廠家域間拉通，終端路由選擇切片策略，全自動化部署，端到端SLA保障。
就目前進展來看，在Phase1階段，首批端到端網絡切片行業標準完成制定。Phase1以滿足5GSA商用最小集為目標，其中切片總體，基于SPN和IPRAN承載的切片端到端對接進入報批階段。工作組將指導5G網絡實現各層次的網絡切片構建，為促進切片產業成熟奠定了良好基礎。
Phase1+將切片標準化做深做實，繼續進行網元功能和接口標準化細化定義。該階段的工作，將為端到端切片的自動化部署奠定基礎。
Phase2/3的工作計劃是，繼續端到端切片，持續解決切片商用標準化問題。CCSA端到端切片特涉組將持續跟進市場真實需求，不斷推進切片的標準化工作。
2021年爭取實現切片自動化部署
IMT-2020推進組正分階段組織E2E網絡切片測試，拉通各子切片協作，實現端到端全自動配置。2020年拉通子切片，2021年端到端網絡切片自動化部署。
2020年研究了E2E網絡切片的主要特點和關鍵問題，制定了試驗規范，拉通了同/異廠家的RAN、TN、CN子切片，驗證部分終端切片基礎能力及切片選擇能力。2021年將重點研究端到端網絡切片管理器和子網切片管理器間互通的關鍵問題，推動子切片NSSMF與第三方NSMF間接口的開放，保障網絡切片自動化部署。研究終端切片選擇策略的關鍵問題，測試驗證終端的切片選擇能力。
