Function Description
The Emerson/Yatson Technology MVME series MEbus single board computer is one of the first VMEbus to use on chip system MPC864XD processing technology. It provides a long path for VMEbus customers to apply on the upper VME, especially the MPC74xx processor. On chip system implementation provides power/thermal, reliability, and lifecycle advantages that are typically not available in modern architectures.
Emerson MVME single board computer SBC can help OEMs of industrial, medical, and defense/aerospace VMEbus platforms increase production and functionality, thereby gaining a competitive advantage while still protecting investment in VMEbus and related technologies. Customers can retain their VMEbus infrastructure (chassis, backplane, and other MEbus and PMC boards) while improving performance and extending their lifecycle.
