巖棉夾芯板上下或里外面板為涂層鋼板,經輥壓冷彎成型后的壓型鋼板,芯層為不燃、硬質、憎水型巖棉板或礦棉板,面板與芯層之間用膠粘結,芯層纖維方向同面板垂直。
巖棉夾芯板的色彩由面板外露涂層顏色決定。上下(或里外)面板的厚度為014~018mm,通常面向室外的面板稍厚,面向室內的面板稍薄。芯層厚度視建筑保溫隔熱要求分別為30~120mm。
板長視具體工程要求確定,但要考慮制作、運輸、安裝的方便,通常屋面板板長同檁條間距相匹配,一般長l[616m(當檁條間距為3m時,板長跨越兩個檁距)。墻面板板長同柱距、層高相配合,夾芯板橫向布置時,一般板長l[610m(同6m柱距匹配),夾芯板豎向布置時,板長需同檐口高度和墻梁間距相配合。
