SANTOPRENE 8271-65 is a soft, neutral, non-hygroscopic, specialty and colorable polyolefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade. It is recyclable within the manufacturing stream. Is shear-dependent and suitable for processing by injection-, blow-, multi injection molding and extrusion blow molding. Used in consumer applications like FDA seals and closures, packaging, small appliance, soft-touch grips, white goods and small appliances, tubing, flexible grips, food containers, kitchenware, living hinges, non-specific food applications, seals and gaskets. Designed for use in non-fatty food contact applications and recommended for applications requiring excellent flex fatigue resistance. SANTOPRENE 8271-65 complies with RoHS, NSF 51 and UL94 HB flame rating. This product is listed in UL #QMFZ2.E80017, Plastics-Component; UL file #QMFZ8.E80017, Plastics Certified for Canada-Component and can be used in food contact applications in the USA (FDA).
