PLEXIGLAS ZK5BR is an amorphous polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). Exhibits excellent light transmission & brilliance, excellent weatherability, high mechanical strength, surface hardness and abrasion resistance. Offers better flowing behavior. It can be processed on extruders with 3-zone general purpose screws for thermoplastics. PLEXIGLAS ZK5BR is particularly suitable for extruding profiles and panels for use in lighting engineering. Used in lighting fixtures, displays and similar extruded items for technical purposes. This grade is listed in AMECA and complies with UL 94 flammability regulations.
